General info about the product: the line by Sunsilk is made of a Shampoo, a Conditioner and a Spray, all made to protect your hair from the heat damages. They are based on the new technology called Thermoactivev and they have been created in collaboration with Thomas Taw. Price: Shampoo 3,35€ (250 ml), Conditioner 3,35€ (200 ml) and Spray 6,29€.  

Primo impatto: Solito packaging dei prodotti Sunsilk che, per l’occasione, si dipinge di un caldo color bordeaux dalla solita finitura opaca per il corpo e con tappo semitrasparente dello stesso colore. Appena aperto si viene inebriati dalla gradevole profumazione che, anche qui, caratterizza sempre i prodotti di questo marchio. Vengo immediatamente colpita dal packaging dello Spray che trovo ben studiato e assolutamente d’aiuto durante l’applicazione e che presenta pulsante di lock/unlock. La consistenza è la solita: prodotto di colore bianco, leggero ma omogeneo per lo shampoo e più denso per il balsamo.

First impression: the same packaging of Sunsilk products that, for this occasion, have a matte, warm burgundy color and a clear lid that has the same shade. As soon as you open it, you can smell the nice scent that these products always have. I was immediately caught by the Spray packaging: I think it’s well made and it’s very helpful during the application, thanks to the lock/unlock button. The consistency is the same: a whitish product, lighter for the shampoo, thicker for the conditioner. 

Considerazioni personali: Il mio voto è 7. L’utilizzo del kit nella sua totalità non mi ha soddisfatta a pieno. Una volta lavati i capelli con shampoo, balsamo e nebulizzatore, i capelli, una volta asciugati con phone e piastra, appaiono, sia al tatto che alla vista, crespi e rigidi. Utilizzando, invece, solo shampoo e balsamo la resa è perfetta e l’effetto della piastra è mantenuto costante per due giorni (leggermente meno se avete i capelli ricci); l’applicazione dello spray, dopo aver effettuato il lavaggio con altri prodotti, è anch’essa soddisfacente e duratura. Il consiglio è quello di preferire shampoo e balsamo al prodotto fissante. Piccola nota aggiuntiva: lo spray è da applicare sul capello in quantità ridotte, proporzionali alla lunghezza della chioma. Ho apprezzato l’ottimo funzionamento della valvola dello spray che permette di non disperdere il prodotto nella valigia o nel beauty. Per un’equità di recensione, il prodotto è stato testato da me, capelli corti, boccolosi e ricci e da mia madre capelli lisci naturali e colorati.

Personal thoughts: I give them a 7/10. I wasn’t thrilled by the use of the whole kit. Once I washed by hair with the shampoo, conditioner and spray, and then I blow dryed and straightened it, it looked and felt frizzy and stiff. But if you just use the shampoo and the conditioner, the result is great and your hair will stay straight for two days (a little bit less if you have curly hair). The spray application is long-lasting and satisfying as well if you use it with other shampoos and conditioners. I suggest you to prefer the shampoo and conditioner to the spray. A small additional note: when you use the spray, just apply a small quantity, in proportion with the lenght of your hair. I appreciated how well the open/close button worked, it allows you not to disperse the product in your luggage or beauty bag. To be completely clear, I tested these products on my short and curly hair and on my mom, that has colored and straight hair.
