app per dimagrire, app per mantenersi in forma, get in shape app, app dieta, app iphone dieta, app android dieta

Noi donne siamo (quasi) sempre a dieta.

Us women, we are (almost) always on a diet. And if we are not, that’s mainly for two reasons: our mom gave us a metabolism that’s able to dispose all the calories at the speed of light; or we are so lucky that we like ourselves as we are.

For all the other girls like me, that are looking to achieve the best weight (or the BMI 22 my Wii Balance Board is obsessed with), it’s all about saying no, small portions, miraculous diets and working out.

But technology helps us even in this field: there are loads of apps that can be useful when we talk about diets, working out and giving us some motivation.

Among the many I’ve tried, there are two that I fell in love with: Runtastic and ShapeUp Club.

Let’s talk about the first one: Runtastic is an app that is able to calculate, depending on what activity you are doing, the kilometers, the duration, the burned calories and the medium and maximum speed. And we cannot forget about the GPS, that keeps track of your “route”.
Runtastic is also a great motivator: when you are not working out for a while, it texts you saying you need to go back on track.
There’s also a PRO version that contains specific trainings (to lose weight or tone up), some iPod keys to control the music, vocal assistance, incitements and much more.

ShapeUp Club, on the other hand, creates a profile for you, that you can use to keep track of the calories you can eat to lose some weight.
All you have to do is add the food you eat; and it’s so easy because you can look through the app list or add a new one using its barcode.
And you can also add the sport you’re doing lately, choosing from the available ones.
With the PRO version, you’ll have more services, but you can easily live without them.
A piece of advice: if you can’t find something in Italian, look for it in English!

    Buona giornata!
