lana parrilla-regina mills

I deeply and viscerally love  bad guys in TV show, books and movies: I can’t help it, I just fall in love with them.

As for Harry Potter I am inextricably linked to Draco Malfoy and Bellatrix Lestrange, in  Once Upon A Time I got captivated by Regina Mills, the evil Queen in the realm of fairy tales that trouble Emma, Henry,  Snow White and  Prince Charming.

I think that Queen Mills, played masterfully by  Lana Parrilla, is elegant, refined and…unscrupulous!

Once Upon a Time begins with the escape of  Henry, Mayor Regina Mills’ adopted son, who goes in search of his real mother  Emma Swan (played by Jennifer Morrison); the woman will be forced to take back the child to Storybrooke, the place where he lives.

Henry explains to Emma that all the inhabitants of the city actually belong to the world of fairy tales, but have lost their memory due to a
spell launched by the Evil Queen 28 years ago, so they can’t remember who they are.

Henry thinks that only Emma will be able to  break the spell that imprisons the inhabitants of the city, allowing the residents to remember that they belong to the world of fairy tales and giving them a happy ending.

Despise not believing the words of the child, Emma decides to stay for some time in the city, realizing that between the child and the adoptive mother there isn’t a bond of love (Emma had given up for adoption hoping that he could have a mother that was better than her).

The arrival of his real mother in Storybrooke is not acceptable for the Queen: the Mayor will seek to expel the newcomer  by any means.

We will meet all the characters from the stories who accompanied our childhood, but in a new guise: I don’t need to tell you how much is intriguing!

Now onto the  outfit!

What I will show you is taken from the second episode of the first season (titled “The thing I love the most): I think it is a great combination to go to work or for a  casual-chic date.
