In my beauty bag right now I only have foundation, mascara, eye pencil and a nude lipstick.

That’s it, that’s all, I thought they were my essentials to survive in a feminine way. But I’m realizing that’s not how it works.

Oh yes, because outside my house, in the streets lighted up by the Christmas lights, all I see are weird feminine creatures, with made up eyes, red lips, and a flawless face.

Nothing that can compare to a clumsy myself, that, forgetting about the make up, rubs her eyes creating a panda escaped from Asia effect.

Come riuscirci?

Allora come fare? Rossi e pazzi?

But what if I want to buy some new products without spending a fortune on them? Without having my debit card freak out?

How can I do that?

Obviously, if I go into a make up store, with my “I don’t know anything about make up, you can make me buy whatever you want!” face, I would be attacked and stalked by the shop assistants, ready to destroy my debit card and my ego. Maybe I would end up with a small bag of products and without some hundreds of euros; or maybe I could never get out of that shop. Who knows.

So, what can I do? Trying low cost products, finding something in between, or choosing well-known brands with…red and crazy prices?

Ci sto provando.

Work in progress!

I think when it comes to skin, face, eyes, we need to choose wisely, so make sure you check the ingredients, where they come from and the feedbacks – on and offline.

I can’t save money when I buy a foundation: if I bought a product that’s too aggressive for my skin, I would feel like burning in the middle of a desert, I don’t know if you can understand me.

So, I’m trying to learn how to save some money.

Work in progress!

Here you have some products I think have great quality at an affordable price.
