Era una questione di tempo, ormai lo sapevamo, perciò non c’è bisogno di stupirsi quando nelle vetrine vediamo così tante salopette: si, sono tornate di moda. Lacoste e Jean Paul Gautier ci avevano avvisate; l’anno scorso infatti, nelle due sfilate primavera/estate 2013 erano comparse le prime salopette, rigorosamente in denim e dai tagli più asimmetrici.
Eppure il vero problema della salopette, non sta tanto nella vestibilità, me negli abbinamenti. O almeno, io ho sempre faticato a trovare qualcosa di adatto da mettervi sotto. Per fortuna, quest’anno, possiamo sbizzarrirci, perché sembra che possa essere accostata ad ogni tipo di top. Oggi, voglio proporvi quattro diversi modi di interpretare una salopette di jeans, con i pantaloncini corti.
Il trend del momento è sicuramente il body, piuttosto vintage, rivisitato dagli stilisti con stampe bizzarre o Animalier. Che abbia la spallina sottile o la mezza manica, trovo che sia decisamente sbarazzino se indossato sotto ad una salopette, così da nascondere in parte le stampe fluo e mitigare l’effetto finale. La t-shirt, intramontabile, dona sempre un look casual e decisamente americano, non a caso Alessandra Ambrosio è stata fotografata in salopette lunga e magliettina leggera. Troveremo molti abbinamenti denim su denim, così ho selezionato per voi una camicia in jeans con ricami floreali, in modo tale che si scosti – oltre che per tonalità – anche per fantasia dalla jumpsuit. Infine un altro top che pare spopolare nel mondo VIP, lanciato anche da Rihanna per la sua personale collezione per River Island: la mini-shirt. Quattro diverse maglie per stravolgere e rinnovare una vecchia salopette, per cambiare look ogni volta che volete o per osare un po’ di più.

Lacoste and Jean Paul Gautier warned us: last year, during their 2013 spring/summer catwalks, for the first time they showed some of them, made of denim and with asymmetric cuts.
But the actual problem with overalls is not their wearability, but what to pair them with. Actually, I’ve always had a problem with what to wear underneath them. Luckily, this year we can go wild with them, because it looks like they can go with any kind of top. Today, I want to show you four different ways to wear a denim overall that has shorts.
The latest trend is bodysuits, vintage ones, that the designers revisit with crazy prints or animal ones. They can have spaghetti straps or short sleeves, I think they all look cute underneath an overall, so that you can hide the neon prints and have a more subtle look. A classic t-shirt will always look casual and American-ish. In fact, Alessandra Ambriosio was spotted wearing a long one with a light tee. You’ll find loads of denim-on-denim looks: so I chose for you a denim shirt with a floral patten, so that it can be a little bit different from the jumpsuit – both for the color and the print. Last but not least, another super popular top among the celebrities, started by Rihanna and her new collection for River Island: the mini-shirt.
