Geek Style: La MFW con la Samsung Galaxy Camera

Non ho mai avuto prodotti Samsung nella mia vita. Mai.
Quando però ho visto la Samsung Galaxy Camera il mio cuoricino ha iniziato a muoversi più velocemente. Ne ero fortemente attratta, tanto da iniziare a chiedere alle mie amiche blogger di farmela provare.

Di cosa si tratta? Difficile a dirlo in un primo impatto. Non è uno smartphone. Non è una fotocamera. E’ la perfetta via di mezzo.
E’ l’oggetto perfetto per chi necessita di foto di ottima qualità e di una condivisione rapida sul web: che sia per i social network o per il vostro articolo “live” su una sfilata, la Samsung Galaxy Camera è perfetta. Dispone di connessione Wifi e 3G, puoi utilizzarla come un normale cellulare o approfittare dei tasti dedicati ai social, direttamente sulle foto, per una condivisione rapida e perfetta.

Durante questi giorni frenetici a Milano, ho spesso messo da parte la reflex per dare un po’ di respiro alle mie spalle stanche: le foto sono di ottima qualità e la possibilità di impostarla manualmente, proprio come un prodotto professionale, la rende ancora più affascinante.

But when I saw the Samsung Galaxy Camera, my heart started beating faster and faster. It totally caught my attention, so I asked my blogger friends if I could try it out. 

What is it? It’s hard to say it at first. It’s not a smartphone. It’s not a digital camera. It’s the perfect combination of the two. 
It’s the perfect tool if you need high-quality pictures and a quick web sharing system. It can be for your social networks or for your “live” post about a fashion show: the Samsung Galaxy Camera is exactly what you need. It has both a 3G and a Wifi connection, you can use it as a normal mobile phone or use the buttons dedicated to the social networks – you can find them directly on the pictures, so that you’ll be able to share them in a matter of seconds. 

During my busy week in Milan, I put my Reflex aside to give my tired shoulder a rest. The pictures come out great and the fact that you can personalize it manually – the same way you do with a professional camera – makes it even more interesting. 

Samsung Galaxy Camera: qualche informazione tecnica

Si basa su sistema operativo Android, in particolare Jelly Bean che, per chi non lo sapesse, è arrivato alla versione 4.1.

E’ disponibile anche in bianco, il touch è preciso e facile da utilizzare (anche per chi ha sempre avuto a che fare con iOS), la fotocamera è da 16megapixel, lo zoom ottico da 21x e uno schermo da 4,8 pollici.

La durata è buona: sono abituata con l’iPhone che, durante la fashion week, alle 14 deve essere necessariamente ricaricato.
La Samsung Galaxy Camera ha retto, con costante utilizzo, fino a sera.

Il prezzo? 549 € di listino, di certo non pochi ma se non siete in possesso di una reflex o di uno smartphone vale sicuramente l’investimento. Insomma, per chi possiede già prodotti simili è sicuramente un prodotto in più ma io me ne sono innamorata.

Samsung Galaxy Camera: some technical details

It has an Android operating system. To be more precise, it’s Jelly Bean that, if you don’t know, it’s now updated to the 4.1 version.

It’s available in black and white, the touch screen is precise and easy to use (even if you’ve always used iOS), the camera has 16megapixel, a 21x optical zoom and a 4,8 inches screen.

The battery lasts pretty long: I’m used to my iPhone which, during the fashion week, needs to be charged at 2pm every day. 
The Samsung Galaxy Camera lasted until I went to bed – and I used it all day. 

The price? 549 €, it’s not cheap but if you don’t own a Reflex or a smartphone, I think it’s worth it. So, if you already have something like it, this might be unnecessary, but I fell in love with it.
