Continuando la ricerca del mascara perfetto mi sono imbattuta nel Supercurl Curling Mascara di Urban Decay. L’ho provato su di me e lo sto utilizzando sul lavoro, quindi sono pronta per condividere con voi le mie impressioni.
While I’m still looking for the perfect mascara, I bumped into the Supercurl Curling Mascara by Urban Decay. I tried it on myself but I also used it at work, so I’m ready to share my opinion with you all.

- Primo impatto: Il packaging è elegante con il suo colore argento metallizzato impreziosito da decorazioni nere che, per il loro andamento curvo, rimandano subito all’obiettivo primario del prodotto: incurvare. Aprendo la confezione si nota subito la flessibilità dell’applicatore, che permette di raggiungere al meglio tutte le ciglia, e la formulazione decisamente liquida dal mascara, che difficilmente vi darà problemi di grumi.
- First impression: packaging is elegant with its metallic silver color, embellished with black designs, whose shape immediately reminds you of the main goal of the mascara: curling your lashes. When you open the product, you notice the flexibility of the applicator, that allows you to reach every single lash, and the liquid formula, that won’t clump up.
Supercurl Curling Mascara di Urban Decay: le mie considerazioni
- Lati positivi: La sua formula a base di glicoproteine e burro di karité lascia le ciglia morbide al tocco ma fissate e ben pigmentate per tutto il giorno. Grazie alla forma dell’applicatore e alle sue setole a pettine, questo mascara vi garantisce una curvatura a lunga tenuta e una definizione delle ciglia che si separano molto facilmente.
Pros: Its formula with glycoproteins and karitè butter leaves your lashes soft, but in place and well pigmented all day long. Thanks to the wand shape and its comb-shaped bristles, this mascara curles your lashes and keep them like that for a long time, defining and separating them at the same time.
- Lati negativi: Purtroppo non è il mascara perfetto, in quanto il volume lascia a desiderare. Proprio grazie alla consistenza liquida, tiene lontani i grumi ma non da quell’effetto “ciglia finte” che, a me, piace tanto.
Cons: Unfortunately, it’ not the perfect mascara, because the volume is not that much. Because it’s liquid, it doesn’t clump, but it doesn’t give that “false lashes” effect I really love. - Il mio voto è: 7. Un buon prodotto, pigmentato, a lunga tenuta e che fa il suo dovere. Però manca quel tocco in più che completa lo sguardo e lo rende perfetto. Direi che è consigliato a chi vuole ciglia sottili e ben separate, ma che non vuole rinunciare ad una curvatura facile e veloce.
I give it a: 7/10. A good product, highly pigmented and long-lasting. But what’s missing is that something more that completes the make up look and makes it perfect. I’d recommend it to those girls who like separated and natural-looking lashes, but who still want a bit of curl as well.
