Fashion Book // Street Cool, la guida cartacea per lo street style

Chi ha vissuto una fashion week in prima persona è perfettamente conscio del fatto che, una delle attività più importanti da svolgere, è sicuramente quella di cogliere i migliori outfit sfoggiati alle sfilate, meglio conosciuto come il caro e vecchio street style.

Posso affermare, con estrema sincerità, che sono anche alcuni degli articoli che preferisco leggere durante le mie retate sul web, poiché posso trovare grandi fonti d’ispirazioni ma, specialmente, per adocchiare gli ultimi trend.

Questo è un fenomeno che ormai coinvolge un pubblico davvero ampio, non solo esperti del settore ma, in primo luogo, persone comuni con una grande passione per la moda che vogliono scoprire più approfonditamente questo mondo.

Street Cool, la nuova guida fotografica al vestire contemporanea a cura di Andrea Battila, è tutto ciò che vi serve per compiere un viaggio in questo universo, seguendo le sue fasi partendo dalle origini.

Nella prima parte potrete rendervi conto di come siano cambiate le categorie tradizionali del vestire, sia in abito formale che informale, nella seconda parte, invece, si capisce come i tre tipi di fisici, magro normale e abbondante, siano stati lentamente dimenticati per far posto a categorie molto più libere (come l’adorabile curvy utilizzato ormai diffusamente, molto meglio dei vecchi termini poco delicati). Nella terza parte, infine, vengono studiati i movimenti giovanili, partendo dai Rock On fino ad arrivare ai Dandy Friendly.

Who has ever lived a fashion week in first person, is totally aware that one of the most important activities is catch the best outfits worn during the catwalks, better known as the good old street style.

I can honestly say that these are ones of my favorite articles to read when I surf the web, because I can take lots of inspirations but also take a look at the latest trends.

This is something that is involving a lot of people lately: not only experts but, first of all, common people with a passion for fashion, that want to learn more about this world.

Street Cool, the new photo guide on how-to-dress, edited by Andrea Battila, is everything you need if you want to discover this universe, starting from the beginning.

In the first part, you will see how the traditional dressing categories have changed (both in formal and informal occasions); in the second part, you will se how the three different body types, slim, normal and abundant, have been eliminated to make space for much freer categories (like the lovely curvy, which is used a lot now, way better that the old undelicate terms). Finally, in the third part you’ll find the youth movements, starting from Rock On all the way to the Dandy Friendly.

So, you won’t be disappointed.
