Primo impatto: Il packaging è essenziale ma assolutamente adorabile: in vetro trasparente, presenta la scritta ESSIE in rilievo, cosa che mi ha conquistata dal primo minuto. Altro segno distintivo, la “E” sulla parte superiore del manico. Il pennellino è piatto e largo, di quelli che, una volta appoggiati sull’unghia, si espandono per aiutarti nell’applicazione.
First impression: the packaging is simple but adorable. Made of clear glass, it has ESSIE written on it (detail that I immediately liked). Another hallmark, the “E” on the top of the handle. The brush is flat and wide, so that once it’s on your nail, it can expand and help you with the application.
Considerazioni personali: Il prodotto può essere riassunto con un voto: 7. Perché? Ora vi spiego i motivi: Il colore è assolutamente delizioso, la tonalità pastello di questo azzurro/blu è davvero fantastica, specialmente per l’estate. La nota dolente, però, è la scarsa coprenza: come potete vedere dalle foto per un risultato “accettabile” le passate devono essere almeno tre, davvero tante per chi ha poco tempo (o poca pazienza). Devo ammettere però che questo tempo lo si recupera in seguito: la durata senza top coat è davvero fantastica (più di quattro giorni!) con un buon top coat anche una settimana.
Personal thoughts: I’m going to give this product a mark: 7. Why? Let me explain the reasons. The color is absolutely pretty, this pastel blue shade is really great, especially for summer. The bad thing about the polish is the pigmentation: as you can see from the pictures, to achieve a “reasonable” result you have to do 3 coats – which are a lot if you don’t have much time (or patience). But I have to admit that you’ll gain the time back later on: without a top coat, this polish lasted me for more than 4 days, and with a top coat even a week.
